Book now! Infants sitting in their own seat will need to use a car seat for take-off and landing, and any time when asked by the crew. Only forward facing seats are allowed on board and the crew must be able to secure it safely to the aircraft seat. CARES can be used for children who weigh between 10 and 20 kg 22 and 44 lbs and whose height is cm 40inches or less. They must also be able to sit upright unaided.
This normally applies to children between the ages of 1 and 4. Please note, if you are bringing a CARES harness on-board and intend to book an allocated seat, this must be secured to a window seat and cannot be located in a row of seats which is either opposite or immediately in front or behind an emergency exit. Please note that car seats and CARES harnesses are not provided by easyJet and customers are responsible for ensuring that any device brought on board is suitable for their child.
GOTO seats can be used for children aged 12 months to 5 years old or 20kg, who have physical disabilities.
